Shoring and underpinning preceded this extensive hospital cafeteria renovation


DuBois Regional Medical Center solicited competitive bids for this project in June of 2005.  Hallstrom Construction was ultimately awarded this challenging project and the chance to continue an already exemplary relationship with this Owner.

This project consisted of the construction of a new addition of approximately 1,400 sf to the existing cafeteria with renovations to the existing 3,750 sf building.  Work on this project included concrete masonry and steel joint framing for the addition and new interior finishes to both the addition and the existing building, new casework and coordination of new kitchen equipment supplied by the Owner.  This already challenging project also included complete new mechanical and electrical systems for the building.
